THE AW LABS PHILOSOPHY.
Modern horology often prioritizes marketing over manufacturing. I am taking a different approach.
AW Labs is an independent studio focused on industrial craft. I do not use catalog components or white-label designs. I machine all cases, dials, and primary architecture internally, transforming raw stock into finished form.

Cut, Not Stamped
Most watches start as stamped blanks. Mine begin as solid blocks of 316L Stainless Steel. I use a custom-made CNC mill to reveal the form, not force it. The case is finished with aluminum oxide to create a uniform, light-absorbing texture that highlights the architectural lines. No polish. No distraction. Just the honest weight of material.

One Design. One Run
I am not building a "permanent collection." I design for a single production run of 50 units. To maintain uncompromising quality in a one-man atelier, these 50 commissions are released in two allocation waves. Because the tooling and code are retired after the series concludes, every component carries the weight of the entire engineering process. You are not buying one of millions; you are securing a piece of a specific, limited history.

Swiss Mechanics
I focus my capabilities on what you touch and see; the case, the dial, and the architecture. For the movement, I use top-grade Swiss mechanical calibers. This ensures that while the design is unique to AW Labs, the timekeeping is reliable, accurate, and serviceable by any watchmaker in the world.

Escalating Complexity
AW Labs is an iterative project. I do not rely on a back catalog of safe designs. The roadmap dictates that every subsequent release must surpass the previous in manufacturing difficulty. Operating on a strict reinvestment model: revenue from Series 1 directly funds the tooling and engineering required for the escalating complexity of Series 2. To own a piece from AW Labs is to fuel that evolution. Holding a specific marker in that ascent.

THE PROCESS.
I do not hold inventory. I build to commission. To maintain strict quality control in a one-man atelier, the 50 build slots will be released in two allocation waves (an initial run of 20 followed by a final set of 30). When the window opens, you aren't just buying a watch; you are greenlighting the production of your specific unit. Once the 50th slot is filled, the design is retired forever.

FAQs
How much will Origin cost?
The commission price for Origin is $4,850.
Because every watch is built to order, I operate on a 50/50 Commission Model:
- The Deposit ($2,425): Due at reservation. This secures your build slot and immediately funds the raw materials for your watch.
- The Balance ($2,425): Due only when your watch is finished, tested, and ready to ship.
Where does the money go?
I do not add a markup for retail distribution or middlemen. The price is calculated to cover three equal pillars:
- Manufacturing: High-grade metals, sapphire, and Swiss movement procurement.
- Labor: The countless hours required to machine, hand-finish, and assemble the unit.
- Development: Funding the R&D, software, and tooling for the next AW Labs project.
*Due to the bespoke nature of the commission, the initial 50% deposit is refundable for 7 days after purchase. After that, funds are committed to movement and material procurement and are non-refundable.
Will "Origin" ever be made again?
No. To stay true to the philosophy of Watches. Made. Once. Origin is exclusive to this release. Once the order window closes, the design will be permanently retired, making it a unique piece for each owner.
What happens after the order window closes?
Once the order window closes, I begin the production phase. Every watch is made to order. I will machine, finish, and assemble the watches for everyone who placed an order. You can follow along with production updates via our social media channels.
How many watches will be available?
Origin is strictly limited to 50 commissions.
As a one-man workshop, I am releasing these slots in two allocation waves (20 followed by 30) to manage the manufacturing workflow. This ensures I can give every single watch the attention it deserves and deliver it within a reasonable timeframe.
Once the 50th slot is filled, the window closes forever. This honors the "One Design. One Run." nature of the brand and allows me to begin engineering the next release.
How are future allocations handled?
Priority is given to existing owners. When a new project is released, owners of previous references receive a private access window to secure their allocation. The remaining capacity is then opened to the public waitlist.
How can I find out about the next release?
The best way to stay informed about future projects and release dates is to subscribe to the newsletter at the bottom of our site and follow me on social media.
What is your warranty?
Your watch is covered by a 2-year warranty against any manufacturing defects.
A watch is meant to be worn, and life happens. For anything outside of the warranty, like accidental damage or normal wear and tear, my commitment to your timepiece continues. As the person who built it, I'm the best person to fix it, and I'll always be here to service it for a fair price.
When will I receive my watch?
Because every watch is made to order, production takes time. I estimate a delivery window of approximately 3-4 months after the order window has closed. I will provide key updates throughout the production process.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, I offer complimentary shipping worldwide. To make your experience as smooth as possible, for most countries I will calculate and collect any applicable duties and taxes at checkout. This ensures a faster delivery with no surprise fees.
Please note, if this service isn't available for your destination, you will be responsible for any import duties or taxes upon delivery.
What is your return policy?
Each AW Labs watch is built to order specifically for you. For this reason, all sales are considered to be final.
However, my primary goal is your complete satisfaction. If you are not happy with your timepiece for any reason, please contact me personally within 14 days of delivery, and I will work with you to find a fair solution.
